What does FCLN-RAPC stand for?
The acronym, FCLN-RAPC, stands for our organization’s legal name, Filipino Canadian Lawyers Network – Réseau des avocats philippino-canadiens.
What does FCLN-RAPC do?
Our mandate is to connect and support licensed Filipino Canadians lawyers and law students, including Canadian and new Canadian (i.e. ITLs or internationally trained lawyers in the NCA process) licensees in the legal profession.
How can I become a member?
Visit our Membership page to register and create your account and pay for membership.
Who can become a member?
We encourage any self-identifying Filipino Canadian lawyer, articling student or NCA candidate, or law school student to join our membership. We are an inclusive and diverse organization committed to enhancing EDI initiatives within the legal community.
Why do you charge a membership fee?
We charge a membership fee to maintain operations and hold events, both virtually and in-person. Our board contributes their time on a voluntary basis only.
Where does my membership money go?
Your annual membership fees go to assist us with organizational costs, such as maintaining this website, compliance and assisting us to attend and host events of interest to our members and the greater Filipino Canadian community.
How can I get involved?
First, make sure your membership is paid and up-to-date. Visit our volunteer page, if you haven’t already, or reach out to a board member to get involved. If you’re from an unrepresented province or territory and you’d like to get involved on the board, please contact the President.
